Special thanks this month to Lindsay Patross from Very Local Pittsburgh for informing our Stranded Lights post with their article on recycling Holiday Lights, as well as Julie Kirkpatrick for suggesting the entry. Have an item to suggest? Let us know.

New Items on Recycle This Pittsburgh

Printer Cartridges

These plastic ink and toner cartridges are used in home and business printers. You can't recycle ink and toner cartridges in curbside Pittsburgh recycling, but there are a number of options for dropping off or mailing in these cartridges...

Plastic Cutlery

Examples of severaly different types of disposable plastic cutlery
Plastic cutlery is often use as disposable, single-use utensils at events or food service locations. Plastic cutlery is not accepted in the City of Pittsburgh's curbside recycling. Due to their small size, unusual shape, light weight, and material variation, they aren't desired or accepted in most recycling programs.
Thanks also to our month's $5+ Patreon sponsor, Elise. ❤️
Thank you as well to Susan and Anonymous who supported us this month on Ko-fi.
