• Have any old shovels or wheel barrows? Donate them THIS WEEKEND to Tree Pittsburgh to be turned into public art. Donations can be dropped off at Construction Junction through Monday.
• Frick Environmental Center is collecting toilet paper tubes to make binoculars with young participants in their Nature School program. Contact Amber at astacey@pittsburghparks.org to arrange for drop off.

• Michael Brothers Hauling has made it known that they are collecting ALL #1 and #2 plastics (including clamshells, cups, etc) at their location at 901 Horning Rd. 15236. They also accept (and even pay for) scrap metal. Their drop-off is a drive through. If you've been saving up your plastics not accepted in Pittsburgh curbside, consider taking a trip out there to drop off. Our Plastic Clamshell Containers, Plastic Container Lids, and Plastic Drinking Cups entries have been updated accordingly. • The CD Recycling Center of America has closed indefinitely during the pandemic and is no longer accepting mail-in items. Our Discs - CD/DVD/Blue-ray post has been updated accordingly. You can email info@cdrecyclingcenter.org to request to be added to their re-opening announcement list.
