Hello [subscriber:firstname | default:reader]
We've been busy looking into various requests. This week we have 2 new items that originated as requests: PakTech handles and Discs (CDs, etc).
Also, we want to highlight a changed item- we have heard from the City that they are not accepting plastic tubs of any size. The Plastic Tub Containers post has been updated accordingly.
Thanks to this month's $5+ Patreon sponsors, Elise and Jim. ❤️ Also special thanks to Dancing Gnome Brewery for their part in supporting us answering the Paktech rings question.

These disks are used for media from music to movies to personal files. With most media moving to digital-only formats nowadays, many people are now getting rid of these physical discs. They can't be recycled through Pittsburgh's curbside recycling but they can be locally donated or mailed to a recycling program. (See below)

These plastic rings are used as carrier handles for a variety of products, from sets of beer cans to jars of salsa. These handles are not accepted through the city of Pittsburgh's curbside recycling program.
